CK corset

Belgium
c.1890. A light drab coutil corset with dark drab sateen bone casings made in Belgium by CK.
The inside of the corset is not lined but has a contrasting white cotton twill staytape with the model name of "La Graciosa" and "Made in Belgium" stamped on one side and "Celebrated CK Corsets Marque Deposee" stamped on the other side.
The top of the corset has band of fine lace trim with light pink silk baby ribbon threaded through the ribbon slots. Matching pink "X" shaped flossing decorates and reinforces the bone casings. Boning material is not stated but may be whalebone.
This particular corset is very long waisted with an unusual 15" long busk and would have been a suitable model for a lady over 5'9".
Measurements: Bust 31 1/2", Waist 19 1/2" although the size labels says 20, Hips 27", Busk length 15".
